For Uncle Matt

Uncle Matt wanted some pics of Livvie, so Uncle Matt gets pictures of Livvie. And so do you.

We wanted to document the sweet girth of Livvie's legs, so that is the reason for the index finger trying to find a knee joint somewhere in there...the rest of the pictures are pretty self-explanatory. We hope these find you doing well.

Sweet Livvie

Livvie had her 4 month checkup appointment with the pediatrician yesterday a few daysfrom turning 5 months. What can we say? It's New Mexico.
Anyway, she is 18.5 lbs and 27.5 inches long...off the charts for a 5 month baby. She is not six months old and already weighs more than some of our friends' kids did at a year. Looks like Avery may have some company...

End of summer and updates

As you can see, the kids are growing up quickly. We had a busy summer of house projects and traveling to Michigan. Fortunately, both went well. As always, it was nice to see family, be in Michigan and spent time together. But man, that trip is long. Even with a minivan.
Aidan starts first grade in two weeks, while Teddy is looking forward to spending time home with his mom and sister by himself. The truth be told, I think that both Ted and Aidan will have some adapting to do without one another. They spent a good deal of time together playing, biking and swimming and have become good buddies. Livvy is growing quickly beyond her "months" and has moved out of the Moses basket and into her crib in her own room. Dad started work at Chief Manuelito Middle School right after finishing the basement carpet this past week. And Mom is holding down the fort and getting ready to do the writing lab at WNMU again this fall.
Things are going well and we hope the same for you.

The boys and I went biking today up in McGaffey. They hit the trail with rigid singlespeeds and rocked the trail with speed and grace. Dad? Well, he wussed out and took his 27 speed fully suspended Element...I'm getting old or
something.
